Terms of Service
Last updated: September 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of tevralo, a competitive-intelligence service for independent restaurants operating at tevralo.com ("the Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
What tevralo is
tevralo monitors competitor business information you choose to track — identity, rating, review count, and open/closed status via the Google Places API, plus menu and pricing data you or we enter — and summarizes what changed in a dashboard, alerts, and periodic reports. See our Data Sources page for exactly where each piece of data comes from.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. One account represents one restaurant business today (multi-location support is limited to plans that include it). You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Subscriptions and billing
Full access requires an active paid subscription; select accounts may receive a limited-time promotional trial at our discretion. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your Billing page; a cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don't provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law. We never store your full card number — Stripe handles that entirely.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or automatically extract data from it beyond normal use of the dashboard and its features.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as your own product.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to submit false, defamatory, or infringing content (for example, fabricated menu prices attributed to a real competitor).
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure.
Your content
You retain ownership of the restaurant, menu, and pricing data you enter. By entering it, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it back to you as part of providing the Service — including sending relevant fields to our AI and data providers as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, particularly competitor observations you personally log.
Our content
The Service's software, design, and branding belong to us. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to them beyond using the Service as intended.
No guaranteed outcomes
tevralo provides information and analysis to support your own business decisions. It does not guarantee any specific business outcome, revenue increase, or cost savings, and AI-generated insights are based only on the data available to your account — they can be incomplete or, occasionally, wrong.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from Billing or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, with notice where practical.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and for significant changes we'll notify you by email.
